How to Install Virtual Box in Ubuntu 16.04 using Terminal

We have already discussed VirtualBox in a previous post, A VM VirtualBox or VB is a software virtualization package which can be installed on an operating system like a software application.

In this post, we shall study see how to install Virtual Box using bash terminal on Debian flavored Linux System like Ubuntu or Kali Linux. The video is self-sufficient and explains the whole process installation. Please watch the video. The commands that were used are as follows:

Installing the VirtualBox

sudo apt-get install virtualbox

Now install the extra support files for extended features like fullscreen abilities and better screen rendering.

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-additions-iso
